Where we've been

As I had mentioned before we/I'd be scarce the next few weeks. We're getting our new home ready for move in. This weekend was replacing the old dining room's floor. We're using the room for our living room since the old living room was oddly shaped and we have a sectional that just wouldn't fit. The kitchen is more than large enough for a table. More on that room at a later date.
Yesterday and today was the new living room. Firefighter ripped up the old floor since it was rather soft. He laid new 3/4in osb and the underlayment yesterday. I primed and began painting the paneling in the room. I despise paneling.

Please forgive me for the crappy phone photos. I had all sorts of stuff that we were hauling over and I forgot the camera bag. I did remember the bag of toys and that is what matters! I wasn't able to get total before photos because of this.

That afternoon Firefighter laying the underlayment. I had already primed the walls.



End of day 1. We were exhausted. Blond Terror was tired and hungry and ready to go home and get comfy.








Day 2. We started laying the tile down. By we I really mean Firefighter. I had the privilege to finish the painting. Firefighter abhors painting.
Firefighter and Blond Terror replacing the thermostat. No I did not allow my 2 year old to replace it. He was pretending.



Done for the day. The walls are actually slightly darker than this. Everything will come together when it's finished and we're moved in.









Only a few randoms of the game room(former living room). We won't be painting this room just yet. I'm not sure what route I want to go. I do want to keep the funky stone paneling. I think it's fun. Then again I'm weird. I also love the little counter thingy between the rooms.




This is the outside of the house. I love it. I wasn't so sure of it at first but the more we do the more I love it. Maybe when there is no snow on the ground, if that ever happens. I'll get photos of my fruit trees and grape vines and future garden!


Tomorrow is painting the boys' bedroom and possibly hanging border in the kitchen. Along with plenty of cleaning. Possibly ripping down some funky wallpaper from upstairs. I'll update tomorrow night.
